Tasting: Villa Jolanda Brut

Wine: Villa Jolanda
Variety: Brut
Region: Italy
Year: 2013
Price: $8.95

Critic Review: Brilliant straw color with emerald reflections. Fresh and floral bouquet with a hint of pears, apricots and bananas. Fresh and inviting with bright fruit and an easy drinking style with a pleasing hint of almonds in the aftertaste.

My Review: Initially, I enjoyed the smell of this wine. It smelled fruity, and I was able to get the pear scent. I then smelled bananas, which I am not a huge fan of. That made me much more hesitant to taste. I was pleasantly surprised that the banana did not come through the taste very much. It was a little drier than I prefer, but overall I liked it.

Overall, I enjoyed this tasting.
