Critic Review: Since
this wine weighs in at 14%, the fruit was clearly very ripe. That ripeness is
reflected in the flavors as well, which feature nectarine and honey accented by
hints of white pepper. It’s full bodied and lush, with a long finish that
mingles the sensations of sweet and spicy.
My Review: This was an interesting wine to taste. The smell was very potent, and it smelled like a variety of fruit. I was also able to smell something i could not identify. It was almost earthy smelling, but that isn't quite the right word. The taste of this wine was not one of my favorites, but gave a variety of different flavors. I was able to taste the fruit, and there was a hint of something semi spicy.
Overall, this was not one of my favorite wines, but I can imagine it pairing well with food that does not have an overly powerful flavor.
